Delve into the world of the great composers and analyze the music of the well loved masterpieces presented by the Tucson Symphony Orchestra's in their 2008 - 2009 Season.
Behind the Music is an innovative lecture series held in collaboration with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and presented by the Music & Dance Academy. These engaging lectures are offered one week prior to the works to be performed in the Classic Concert Series. Participants explore compositions, learn what to listen for in the actual setting, and gain added insight and thrill with the live concert experience.
Behind the Music lectures offer a great opportunity to gain an added insight and thrill with the live-concert experience. Both amateur musicians and those with no prior musical background will benefit from an opportunity to broaden their musical horizons and greatly enhance enjoyment of their musical experience.

Upon registration through the Music & Dance Academy, take your Lecture Series Voucher to the TSO Box Office and choose the performance dates which correspond with your Behind the Music Lecture Series.
